Two specimens of Ilyocypris salebrosa. The specimen on the left is an adult female viewed from the right side. On the right is a ventral view of a juvenile, with the valves open revealing the appendages and body inside. In Japan, this species has been reported from Lake Biwa (5.5 to 16 m depth) and Okinawa.
