A female Bradleycypris vittata, left side view, length 0.8 mm. This species is sometimes found in rice fields and irrigation ponds in Japan, and small numbers have also be recovered from the shoreline of Lake Biwa. Elsewhere, it has been reported from China, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. (Click on the image to view the next one in the series.)
