Career
I graduated from Hokkaido University of Education's Department of Education and then went to Hyogo University of Teacher Education for a master's degree program. I then worked for Shiga Prefectural Board of Education Cultural Promotion Section and the Cultural Facility Establishment Preparation Room, before working in the Lake Biwa Museum Project Office, Shiga Prefecture Board of Education.

Specialty
1. Palaeoclimate and floral changes during the Pliocene.
2. Palaeoenvironmental reconstruction of the Pliocene using fossil flora.
