	Career

I graduated from the Engineering Department of Osaka Institute of Technology, and in 1991 began working for Shiga Prefecture as an engineering works technical official. In April 2007 I joined the Lake Biwa Museum.

Specialty

1. Construction of zero emission regional models of bamboo lumbering along river channels.
2. The declining use of the bulkhead design of peripheral sewage systems.
3. Safety appraisal of river dykes.
