CareerGraduated from the College of Biological Sciences, University of Tsukuba, and the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, Tokyo University. Obtained Research Fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. In April 2012 started work at the Lake Biwa Museum.
