  Career
I graduated from Kochi University's Agricultural Department in forestry, and then took a master's course in forestry at the same university. I then worked for Shiga Prefecture as a forestry technical official before joining the Lake Biwa Museum in April, 2006.

   Specialty
1. Appraisal of wood pest control methods in protecting forest nursery stocks.
2. Appraisal of wild animals as 'habitat improvement' methods, and the changes in vegetation as a result.
3. The importance and economics of installing and managing protection fences.
