  Career
I graduated from Kyoto University's Agriculture Department, and then completed a master degree in applied biology also at Kyoto University. I enrolled on a doctorate course, but left mid-term and became a Aquatic Resource Technical Officer at the Shiga Prefecture Fisheries Experimental Station. Since 2008 I have been working at the Lake Biwa Museum.

   Specialty
1. Fisheries' stock enhancement.
2. The ecology of young nigoro-buna fish (Carassius auratus grandoculis).
3. Genetic variability.
