  Career
I graduated from Nippon University's Agricultural and Veterinarian Department in marine products. From 1974 I worked at the Shiga Prefectural Culture Museum, and since 1996 I have been working at the Lake Biwa Museum.

   Specialty
1. Elucidation of the sound mechanisms of the 'gigi' fish.
2. The egg-laying behaviour of the 'sunaganigoi' fish.
3. The utilization of photographs in museology.
