Outdoor Exhibits and Other Exhibition Facilities

(1) Special Exhibition Room

　This room is used for various types of exhibitions, such as special exhibitions and small exhibitions showing the museum's collections.

(2) Aquarium Special Exhibit Room

　This facility is for special exhibits on selected themes and focuses on freshwater fish and other organisms. It is also used for the display of aquatic organisms as part of the museum's special exhibits.

(3) Outdoor Exhibition Facilities

　These facilities include the Life and Culture Laboratory and farm fields and offer exciting opportunities for participatory learning and experimentation.

　Forests, rivers, and ponds have been created here in line with the museum's mission to inspire visitors to explore the outdoors through the outdoor exhibition facilities. Part of the outdoor space is dedicated to experimental facilities, where experiments relating to the transformation of plants and biological purification of rivers are conducted.
